Wainwright Stampede on June 20-23

The 71st Wainwright Stampede will kick up its heels this weekend from Thursday with the Chamber Stampede Kick-Off Party to Sunday’s final chuckwagon ride.

Rodeo breakfast mornings are being served at various locations in Wainwright every day this week, along with barbecues over the lunch period.

Parade Day is Saturday, Jun. 22, from 10 a.m., covering an area from Main Street to the hospital. The Cabaret on Saturday night will feature singer and songwriter Brayden King at the PMM (Peace Memorial Multiplex).

The festivities will see the CPRA Rodeo and CPCA Chuckwagons racing through the weekend with final races listed for 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 23.
