The third edition of the Filipino Festival will start with a car and foot parade and be held on the grounds west of the Amphitheatre in Bud Miller Park on Saturday, June 22.
Organizers say a vehicular parade will travel from Servus Sports Centre to Bud Miller Park from about 9:30 a.m. The walk-in parade will leave from the PSM Lawyers Park Centre at about 10 a.m. heading towards the Amphitheatre for the official opening at 10:30 a.m.
Over 70 booths are in the mix with several community groups, market and food vendors on hand.
The day will feature cultural presentations, and sports after lunch. Then from 4-9 p.m., there will be Talent Unlimited featuring singing, dancing and live bands performing.
