Loon Lake RCMP have issued an arrest warrant for 26-year-old Isaiah Alexander and advised not to approach the suspect.
On July 18, 2024, at about 1:27 p.m., Loon Lake RCMP received a report of a serious assault outside a business in Loon Lake.
Officers immediately responded and located an adult male, who was transported to hospital with injuries described as serious.
Investigators determined a male suspect approached the victim outside of the business and assaulted him with an edged weapon, then fled.
Officers searched for the suspect by patrolling and using a Remotely Piloted Aircraft System but did not find him.
As a result of continued investigation, 26-year-old Isaiah Alexander from Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation is charged with:
- One count, aggravated assault
- One count, assault with a weapon
- One count, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
Isaiah Alexander is about five feet eight inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
