With tariffs from China and the U.S. bearing down on Canada, some supports are now available in Lloydminster.
The City of Lloydminster has put out a questionnaire and made the services of the Economic Development team available to assist local businesses.
“While the full impact of these tariffs remains uncertain, the City of Lloydminster is committed to navigating these challenges with fellow organizations,” says city administration.

Also, the Lloydminster Chamber of Commerce has launched a webpage with resources to help businesses navigate amid the tariff uncertainty.
“The dedicated webpage brings together everything businesses need to navigate tariffs and understand their impacts on operations,” says the Chamber.
Resources include input from the Alberta, Saskatchewan and Canadian Chambers of Commerce and real-time data tracking for business.
