Three people arrested in Turtleford appeared in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan court on Thursday, Mar. 27, after Saskatchewan police seized weapons and cocaine from a vehicle.
On Wednesday, Mar. 26, officers from the North Battleford Crime Reduction Team, Police Dog Services, and Turtleford came to a home on 1st Avenue, Turtleford, that is part of an ongoing investigation.
When officers approached the home around 11:45 a.m., the occupants were getting into a running vehicle. Police seized a firearm and an edged weapon in plain sight inside the vehicle during their investigation.
Two women and two men were arrested at the scene, while a third woman fled to a nearby alley, where she was later apprehended. Officers found 10.8 grams of cocaine in her possession.
A further search of the vehicle led to the seizure of $2,690 in cash, a sawed-off shotgun, and ammunition. Additional ammunition was discovered on a bench in front of the home.

Christen Dillon is also charged with possession of a firearm while prohibited.
Two other individuals were released without charges.
