Battlefords RCMP have arrested two 23-year old men after an armed robbery on the Mosquito First Nation.
Shortly after 7 A.M. on January 6th police were called after a suspect with a gun reportedly stole a vehicle. At least one shot was fired into the ground, but no one was injured. The vehicle was later recovered on 33rd Street in Battleford and two guns were found inside.
Police arrested the first suspect at a home on 33rd Street just after 10 A.M. He has been charged with robbery with a firearm, careless use of a firearm, wearing a disguise while committing an offence and two counts of pointing a firearm.
The second suspect was also found in Battleford later in the evening. He has been charged with robbery with a firearm.
Both suspects will appear in North Battleford Provincial Court Monday.
