The new Cenovus Energy Hub is missing a development permit from the City of Lloydminster, according to the city.
The city has indicated that on Nov. 1 there was a shutdown at the site that lasted for about two and a half hours. They say they are awaiting the development permit, and a Subdivision and Development Appeal Board meeting was scheduled for Nov. 7.
The permit should be approved within three to six business days for the $93.9 million events centre, the city said in a statement on Thursday afternoon.
