Lloydminster groups get grant funds from Saskatchewan Community Initiatives Fund

A few Lloydminster groups are getting grant funds in the latest offering from Saskatchewan’s Community Initiatives Fund.

The groups receiving funding under the Summer Grant Program:

  • City of Lloydminster – Summer Fun Program – $6,000
  • Lloydminster Interval Home Society – Summer Program – $6,000
  • Lloydminster Native Friendship Centre – Summer Day Camp – $6,000
  • Lloydminster Roman Catholic Separate School Division -Bananas over Books and Sports
    Camp – $5,000

The Community Initiatives Fund (CIF) has approved 416 grants totaling $5,300,476.

Meanwhile, under the Community Grant program:

  • Lloydminster Native Friendship – Centre After School Program – $20,500
  • Lloydminster Roman Catholic Separate School Division – Family Gym Nights – $7,000
  • City of Lloydminster – Girls In Motion – $3,409

The CIF is a Special Purpose Fund created through The Lotteries and Gaming Saskatchewan Corporation Act and managed by a government-appointed Board of community volunteers.
