Women’s Hockey – Kylie Perry (Forward) & Julianna Giacobbo (Defence)Â – March 12, 2025
Competing in the gold medal round in the ACAC up against the Red Deer Queens. The Rustlers hosted the first 3 games in the Best-of-5 Series at the Russ Robertson Arena over the weekend. The team reflects on the comeback they made in Game 2 & 3 as they prepare to hit the road with the possibility of taking gold on Friday, March 14 in Game 4.

Men’s Futsal – Gavin Quinlan (CDM) – March 6, 2025
The college prepares to host the Futsal Championships for the first time this upcoming weekend (March 7-9, 2025). Gavin shared some insight on what the journey to the championships looked like as a team this year, and how special it is to play games in their home gym for the first time in his 4 years as a Rustler.
Men’s Basketball – David Dimaano (Guard) – February, 26 2025
With an incredible at home record (9-1) this past season, the Men’s Basketball team prepare to head out on the road for the Championship Weekend Feb 27-Mar 1, 2025 at Briercrest College in Caronport, SK.
Men’s Volleyball – Nathan Musschoot (Outside) & Gabriel Brinchmann Bjorkas (Outside) – February 19, 2025
The team prepares to host the ACAC Championships at the Lakeland College Gymnasium Feb 20-22, 2025. This bracket-style tournament means the first game is set and the team will have to keep winning as they gun for the finals on Saturday.

Women’s Futsal – Madeline Russet (Centreback) & Gracey Smithson (Left Winger) –Â February 12, 2025
Madeline Russett &Â Gracey Smithson are homegrown, Lloydminster talents on the Women’s Futsal teams. Both Men’s and Women’s Rustlers are preparing to host the Futsal Championship from March 6-9 at the Lakeland College Gymnasium. This will be the first time, Madeline and Gracey get to play on their home gym. Get ready to cheer them on border city!
Curling – Assistant Coach Lindsay Bertsch – February 5, 2025
All 3 Teams, Men’s, Women’s & Mixed are headed to Provincials in Red Deer in hopes to move onto Nationals.
