The roar of the engines will fill the outdoor spaces at the Lloyd Ex as the Boundary Ford Autowars roll into town on Aug. 2.

The three categories at stake are the full size, truck and mini size vehicles. In terms of prizes, $10,000 each will be shared among the top three places in both the truck and full size categories. The overall winner gets $5,000, second place gest $3,500 and third place wins $1,500 in both categories.
Josh Arnold who is on the planning team has demo derby pedigree in his blood.
“My dad did it. My grandfather did it. I’m third generation.”
He already has a revved up a 1973 Impala that puts out about 350 horsepower and is promising another monster vehicle for the August-long event.
“I should have a new one of these built for the Lloyd Derby.”
Speaking at the launch on Monday, Mar. 17, Lloyd Ex GM, Jackie Tomayer saluted the collaborative partnership with Boundary Ford saying the Lloydminster Exhibition could not put on the event without great sponsors and partners.
