Election Update for ridings around Lloydminster

UPDATED: As at 10:35 p.m., Monday, April 28, in the Battlefords-Lloydminster-Meadow Lake riding, Conservative, Rosemarie Falk is leading with about 78 per cent of the vote.

Falk has garnered over 18,000 votes and, unofficially is projected to return to Ottawa.

Here is the breakdown on the Elections Canada website with 100 0f 183 polling stations reporting:

Conservative Rosemarie Falk 18,695 78.5 %
Liberal Larry Ingram 3,884 16.3 %
NDP-New Democratic Party William Petryk 1,086 4.6 %
CFP Darrell Patan 154 0.6 %

In the Lakeland riding, Conservative Shannon Stubbs is projected to retain the riding unofficially at over 80%, with 120 of 246 polling stations counted:

Liberal Barry Milaney 2734 11.3 %
NDP-New Democratic Party Des Bissonnette 940 3.9 %
People’s Party – PPC Michael Manchen 420 1.7 %

Nationally, the Liberal Party is projected to form a minority government, according to the unofficial data on the Elections Canada site, as at 10:35 p.m. MST.
